The must-see Marmalade Historic District is a triangular area west of Capitol Hill given its name because of trees and greens that bore fruit planted by its earliest settlers. Marmalade’s steep, narrow and curvy roads distinguish it from any other neighborhood in the area and are reminiscent of the streets in San Francisco.

Capitol Hill

The Utah State Capitol, built between 1912 and 1916 rests grandly on the hill with sweeping views of downtown and the Wasatch Front as well as the Great Salt Lake to the West.
